La Paloma Blanca in San Antonio

Fish tacos 4/5 stars. Not the best I've had, but pretty good good overall. Margaritas were pretty dang good. Highly recommend

We just ate a fabulous meal there after being out of State for 10yrs. It was so deliciousPollo Y Cilantro....and tasted even better than we remembered. The service was excellent also! Thank you so much. We will be back again either on this visit again or the next time we are in SA TX!

Nice place! The food was pretty good. They have a large menu to choose from.The Mole was not the best, but the enchiladas were great! The Pozole was also very good. The margaritas were decent, but not great. The tableside guacamole was delicious. They have a great patio and they had plenty of heaters to keep us warm. I'd go back again.

Really great experience.You can tell everything is homemade and from scratch! Including their chips and salsa. Everything is reasonably price and has a good atmosphere.

This is actually one of my favorite restaurants. I get their beef fajitas, but make it keto friendly.

We went to a good friends party here. The staff was friendly and the food was very good. We will definitely be going back to have some really good Mexican food and enjoy the place again. May God continue to bless this place and all its staff for the how friendly they are.

Fabulous! We needed a last minute restaurant for out of town guests that had dietary restrictions. This restaurant was excellent! Gluten free menu and a paleo menu! Wow! Food was delicious. Excellent staff and very clean. I will definitely go back to this restaurant.

I have eaten herr multiple times over a course of 10+ years. I have nothing negative to say about this place. The service is always stellar, the food always fresh & hot, the drinks are strong & fresh (bartenders good), the restaurant is large & beautiful.Don't let the stuffy Alamo Heights reputation and location steer you away. It's nice and in Alamo Heights without the pretense. Very laid back.

Unique Mexican food. We all had different enchiladas and loved them. The atmosphere and service were excellent too.

Dined on the patio, flies a little bothersome but food was great. Enjoyed we were celebrating 37 years of union.

Food was pretty tasty overall, besides the queso (cheese dip as they refer to it) don’t bother. Margaritas were alright but nothing special. However, the service was very subpar. We were coming in from out of town, running a little late, and had 7:30 reservations for a Monday night. Called a few hours ahead to see if we could push back the reservations to 8:00 and they declined saying they can’t move any reservations around after 7:00pm...show up running a little late and are seated immediately only to find out the restaurant was over half empty anyway, so not sure why they couldn’t accommodate our time change request. Our waiter was abysmally slow at taking our order, refilling our chips (upon request), and bringing our checks; not sure if it was because of our younger age or what. Ultimately because the food was only good, not great, and the severe lack of service, probably won’t be returning or suggesting to friends in the future.

Great Service and a wide menu selection of plates. A smoky and spicy salsa and chips to start off your meal. Guacamole is freshly made tableside.

We just ate there, I was excited to try it for the 1st time. My husband and daughter ordered the same thing and were happy with their meal. I on the other hand am not feeling to well after eating there. I was very careful in choosing my meal as my stomach is not what it used to be. I questioned our waiter “Tomas” carefully before settling on the Chicken with mushrooms, onions, and peppers and specifically asked for NO PEPPERS! Well, you guessed it, there were peppers in it. I brought it to Tomas attention and he didn’t seem to concerned and passed it off with a “What is wrong with the kitchen tonight” Total disappointment.

This place is always good! The atmosphere is great for breakfast, lunch, and especially dinner. Food is perfect and wont break the bank.

Exceptional free valet parking available. Staff are very friendly from the hostess to the server. Food was a little pricey, but very good. Drinks are reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning when in San Antonio again.

Average Mexican food that has the exact same offerings and taste as any Mexican restaurant in the US. We had a good experience and the service was great. But nothing really popped out at us taste-wise.

It is a beautiful place and I was excited to try it out since it has good reviews, but it didnt meet my expectations. The service was slow, the food was cold (others in my table said the same), but drinks werent bad. I'm one to not care about the price when the food and drinks are worth it, but here they werent. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back. 🤷‍♀️

This place was ok, had family visiting from out of town and just picked a place off Google. When we got our text to get our table we walked up and waited to be acknowledged, someone walked up right next to us and they helped them first. Then they sat us in the loudest room, my guess is because we had my child with. Our waiter was good, my food was delicious but my family's chicken was dry. Dessert was good.

My goodness the food was just sooo good. Beautiful atmosphere, we are outside as the weather was so nice. Great staff too.

We celebrated a dear friend birthday surprise party. We had private room and bathroom. Two bartenders . great food great service . Staff friendly and bilingual , margaritas are awesome. Thank you Carla for setting helping set up this event. Definitely will go back .

We went here knowing service is slow but it was extremely slow on my last visit. We arrived at an off lunch time and it wasn't busy but it took well over half an hour to get our food. When I started eating I realized it wasn't even warm. It was room temperature. I got the enchiladas 09 and the sauces are delicious but the chicken inside was unflavored and dry. The waiter was polite but mostly absent.

The food here was good. Our waitress was amazing. I had the enchiladas dimas, which were with shrimp and mushrooms and a mango chamorita drink. The atmosphere is very nice and the outdoor patio had fans that spray a light mist of water to help keep you cool.

Their curbside service was incredible and the food was even better. This was my first experience here and will not be my last. Great food!

Great place and tasty Mexican food! Staff is friendly and bilingual. Enchiladas '09 are wonderful and very well served. They have a decent amount of options regarding cocktails and beers. Fair prices on food and drinks. If it's not so hot outside, give their terrace a chance, where they have a peaceful fountain and many areas to eat and chill. Definitely will come back again!

Family is in town for the holidays, and they want some good Mexican food since it's not available where they live. Paloma Blanca is close to the botanical garden, so we go there. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, and the staff is professional. We enjoy talking, laughing, and eating delicious food. The portions are large, so there's enough for another meal or two. They want to come back here next time they're in town!

This is the real deal. Authentic Mexican food in San Antonio. The two salsas are an excellent addition to their food. Could make some improvements on their tortillas.
